We are looking for highly motivated individuals, with a passion for Patient care, to join our friendly Operations team, as **Patient Coordinators.**
You will be based at both sites in Bury
- Moorgate Primary Care Centre, and Bolton - Waters Meeting Health Clinic.
You’ll have a positive, flexible approach and enjoy working independently and as part of a team.
You will be required to work evenings, and overnight. Shift hours fall between **22:00pm -08:00am.**
*As we provide services 24/7, weekend working will be required.
**Main Duties**:
Patient care which involves call handling, reception duties (including Primary and Urgent Care Services) and despatching.
You will be required to:
- Answer telephone calls from the general public in a courteous, helpful and professional manner.
- Ensure effective comfort calling to patients when required.
- Manage the bookings of treatment centre appointments.
- act as treatment booking agent as and when required.
- Effectively liase with any involved outside bodies, eg: Hospitals, Pharmacies, nursing and ambulance services.
**Skills & Knowledge**:
- IT Skills
- Ability to work under pressure
- Ability to adapt to change within the working Situation
- Great customer and patient service
- Excellent communication skills
- A caring and compassionate personality
- Ability to travel to all BARDOC sites, as and when required to meet business needs.
- Healthcare experience is desirable, but not essential.
Full Training will be provided in our Training & Development Centre based at our head office in Bury.
Please note: Training for this role is held over the duration of 3 days. Attendance for this is **compulsory.**
