HR Administrator

Working for a leading Kent Legal firm, this is a brand-new position suited to an enthusiastic and efficient administrator looking to develop their career in HR.
**Main Responsibilities**:
- Training Administration - book internal/external training courses, update training records and budget spreadsheet, send/chase training evaluation forms to delegates
- Partnership Administration - carry out audio typing and administrative tasks for the Partnership Manager as required (filing, photocopying, updating of spreadsheets, policies, arranging meetings etc.)
- Handle incoming enquiries, alerting HR Manager and Partnership Manager to urgent or sensitive issues requiring a rapid response
- Maintain annual holiday spreadsheet and produce holiday cards
- Assist the HR Manager with administration of the Firm’s Annual Appraisal System, updating spreadsheet, booking any training requirements and amending job descriptions as required
- Make amendments to the staff handbook, policies and procedures as required
- Filing, photocopying and archiving as necessary
**Key Skills and Experience**:
- Previous office/admin experience, including management of both manual and electronic filing systems
- Some experience of working in an HR or confidential environment would be an advantage
- Good general level of education (A-C grades/levels 9-4)
- Audio typing skills desirable
- MS Word advanced level (mail merge, track changes, formatting)
- Excellent organisational and prioritising skill
- Flexible with a ‘can do’ attitude
