**JOB DESCRIPTION**
**Job Title**:Customer and Membership Officer
**Department**:Commercial, Marketing and Box Office
**Based at**:Seat Unique Riverside, Chester-le-Street.
Although may be required to work at other cricketing venues throughout the County e.g. outgrounds
**Position reports to**:Customer Services Manager
**JOB PURPOSE**
The Customer and Membership Officer will be responsible for managing the clubs’ relationship with customers and members, leading on initiatives to build stronger ties with our fans and developing a strong membership community.
The Manager will respond to all enquiries, developing procedures for responding to and dealing with issues.
In addition, the Officer will be responsible for the day to day running of the club shop and supporting with all box office and reception activities.
**KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**
1. Build relationships with the clubs’ members and customers
2. Develop a membership community including a programme of regular events
4. Operate the clubs shop including restocking, merchandising, stock taking, recording deliveries and selling utilising the clubs use of the Shopify retail system.
5. Oversee the retail sales experience
6. Advise customers and process group sales enquiries
7. Support with all box office activities including selling tickets and covering Box Office Managerial duties in the absence of the Customer Services Manager
8. Support with the club’s reception services
9. Support in the delivery of all reports from the retail and box office systems
10. Work closely with the Marketing and Commercial teams to develop plans and activities to promote ticket sales and build member and customer relationships
11. Look for opportunities to improve the clubs’ processes and delivery methods across customer service, box office, reception and retail
12. To support in other areas as required identifying areas for improvement and committing to flexible working hours as required by the business
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
**Salary**: £20,000.00-£22,000.00 per year
