The Global Learning Localisation Lead is responsible for establishing, setting the localisation strategy, overseeing, and managing the work/responsibilities of several Regional Learning Localisation Teams to ensure that learning coming from the centralised learning creation teams is effectively contextualised and localised to be relevant to local markets, sites, and functions; while optimising the learning technology ecosystem. This Leader is accountable to ensure the Regional Localisation Teams work seamlessly with the Learning Experience Teams, aligned to global learning content strategy, to deliver effective learning solutions aligned to local conditions, regulations, business strategies, and translated in the local language.

This capability which has not previously existed in the organisation will leverage both internal and external talent, effectively establish operations, processes, and ways of working to ensure the BPO (Business Process Outsourcing) partnership provides learning talent able to meet the design, development and translation needs for each region. This position is pivotal as an integrator and bridge, informing central learning of the localisation strategy and local needs and delivering relevant learning to the business and learners across the globe.

**Responsibilities**
- Accountable for the GLD Learning Localisation strategy and establishment of the localisation team and processes including the assessment of localisation requirements.
- Collaborates with Client Facing team members and local business stakeholders to define and manage the learning strategy for across the organisation aligned to global development areas and Learning Experience Strategies.
- Oversees multiple Regional Learning Localisation Team Leads, and their teams of Learning Developers (internal and/or BPO talent)
- Accountable for ensuring that the Learning Localisation Team Leads and their teams leverage global content consistent with centrally defined roll-out plans.
- Oversees the management of regional portfolios of prioritised development work aligned to GLD portfolio and Content Strategy.
- Understands and oversees identification/documentation of the regional business requirements for learning content
- Ensures that their Learning Localisation Team Leads develop content localisation and translation plans for their regions
- Works in collaboration with the Strategy and Operations Lead and team to effectively establish operations, processes, and ways of working to ensure the BPO partnership is meeting established metrics related to design, development and translation needs for each region

**Required Experience**:

- Demonstrated expertise in Learning systems, Industrial/Organisational Psychology or related fields
- 8 years demonstrated team leadership and program management experience of complex, multi-divisional programs and Learning design and development experience
- Significant experience in Learning D&D including up to date instructional design and learning science applied to live, virtual, online, social, and adaptive continuous learning experiences
- Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to align various stakeholders to a common goal
- Strong executive presence and excellent communication skills
- Strong balance between technology, solutions, and business acumen with a deep desire to deliver business value to the organisation and an enhanced learner experience
- Ability to leverage data and analytics to drive insights and decisions
- Agility, flexibility, working in a fast-paced iterative environment
- Process management and/or process improvement experience or certifications
- Pharmaceutical or Life Sciences experience

**Preferred**:

- Degree in Instructional systems or another relevant field
- Global management experience
- Strong understanding of change management with a commitment to learner experience
- Project Management certification &/or Agile Scrum experience
