Barton St Peter’s CE Primary School is seeking to appoint a skilled 1-1 Full Time Teaching Assistant to be part of our incredibly supportive, hardworking and successful team initially supporting a pupil in KS1

We are looking for someone who:
Can provide a safe learning environment for high needs pupils,
Is flexible, organised and a team player,
Is an effective communicator,
Is able to develop positive relationships with children and parents,
Has an understanding of ASD and related support strategies
Has an understanding of behaviours which challenge and related support strategies
Has an understanding of SEND practices including EHC plans
Has high expectations and understanding of pupils’ learning and behaviour
Has good mobility

This is a child specific post and so will be a fixed term until the child reaches the end of Year 6 or should leave the school
