**Job Title**: Temporary Facilities and Event Co-ordinator

**Contract**:Temporary contract for 2 months (may be extended)

**Hours of work**: Usually 9am - 5pm Monday to Friday, however the applicant must be flexible depending on events taking place.
- Our client based in Belfast City Centre welcomes a wide range of civic and community partners and general public visitors to their historic office each year. Their ‘front of house’ reception and events team are essential to the smooth running of the Office, and are recruiting a skilled facilities and events co-ordinator to join their team._
- **The role will include**:_
- Responsibility for the co-ordination and delivery of reception services
- Supervision of building support services, to include staff catering and third-party service providers
- Co-ordination and organisation of corporate, civic and internal events, hosted in the Office
- Support the communications and marketing team, in the co-ordination and delivery of effective stakeholder management
- Manage reception services including supervision of reception colleagues, undertaking relief reception duties and planning reception cover.
- Supervision of catering colleagues and 3rd party facilities contractors
- Manage housekeeping and deep cleaning through our 3rd party contractor.
- Deliver effective and professional event management services
- Assisting with the planning and organisation of corporate and internal events
- Sub-contracting events requirements to external providers
- Interfacing with 3rd party event organisers
- Ensuring compliance with the events policy
- Managing the delivery of events
- Support the Communications and Engagement team in the management and upkeep of stakeholder engagement details.
- **Applicants must meet the following Essential Criteria**:_
- Vocational qualification in a relevant discipline
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a reception environment to include switchboard management and administration support
- Demonstrable event management experience, preferably in organising corporate events at scale
- 5 GCSE’s or equivalent including English and Maths
- Full UK Driving Licence

**Job Types**: Full-time, Temporary contract
Contract length: 2 months

**Salary**: £30,000.00 per year
