Activity and Event Co-ordinator

Responsibilities:
- Responsible for recruitment, induction and supervision of volunteers
- Responsible for all internal/external activities and events
- Work within the local area to build the reputation and visibility of the organisation
- Organising volunteers to support with activities and external trips through the projectManaging risk, change and escalation as appropriate
- Mentoring volunteers and supervising them
- Give relevant induction and training to volunteers
- Preparing and hosting daily activity sessions
- Producing and updating activity planners for the community centre, supporting thecommunity and encouraging engagement.
- To provide weekly updates to the Line Manager - Project and Finance Manager
- Requirements:
- Previous experience in a similar role is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills to interact with people of all ages and backgrounds.
- Strong time management and organizational skills to effectively plan and execute activities.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Creativity and enthusiasm to develop engaging and innovative activity programs.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
**- Fluent in English, Slovak/Czech and mainly Roma.**
**Job Types**: Full-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 24 months
**Salary**: £25,358.00 per year
