Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, this is a new and exciting opportunity to advise & help with the Health and Safety across all levels of the business.

To ensure success as a health and Safety consultant you should have experience in co-ordinating and implementing policies and procedures within health and safety and to ensure compliance within the business.

**JOB DESCRIPTION**

Conduct regular building and safety walks and audits and to share relevant findings with the correct departments and managers.

To review and assess risk assessments, accident reports, safety protocols and work alongside the relevant department in achieving the goals and standards outlined.

Report taking.

To keep the company up to date with any new legislations.

To review and hold health and safety training to ensure it is effective.

To be an advocate for the business with onsite audits and inspections.

Ensure Fire safety regulations are being adhered to.

Proactive.

IT literate.

Compliance checks.

**PERSON SPECIFICATION**

Health and Safety experience is essential.

Skilled at-risk assessments and report taking

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Ability to work independently and as a team.

Excellent time management.

Ability to build relationships.

IOSH & NEBOSH (desirable).

**WHAT WE OFFER**

30/40 flexible hours per month

**RATE OF PAY**

£13 to £15 p/h dependant on experience
