The team has grown this year to support increasing demand for the product range, and now that a member of the team has decided not to return to work after maternity leave, we're looking to hire a Customer Service Advisor to cover take on this vacant position with perhaps one of the nicest places to work in the area

Feedback from a person who joined the team over a year ago explained that they have been made to feel very welcome indeed and they were made to feel part of the small team very quickly. This person's new colleagues have been friendly and supportive. The training on how to use the computer systems has been great and this person feels that they have been helped along the way to become the best they can be as they settle in. They're now ready to welcome a new member of the team as they were welcomed when they joined

**Job Title**: Customer Service Advisor (business to business enquiries, not taking calls from the general public)

**Hours**: 9:00am to 5:00pm with an early finish on Fridays

**Salary**: We're looking to pay £22,000 to £23,000 but please let us know your salary requirements. In addition to the salary, we can offer a very good benefits package including 25 days holiday plus all bank holidays and the office closes over the Christmas period too

**Location**: Stonehouse, Gloucestershire, GL10 - with the option to work from home two days per week if you would like to.

**Job status**: Permanent

**Planned start date**: This position is available immediately, or we're happy to wait for the right person if you have to give notice to your current employer.

About the job

Working in a small team supporting key business customers, this is not a call centre type job so you won't be handling huge volumes of enquiries from members of the public. With business customers in a range of industries, to include government departments, and offering a high value, high quality product range, this position offers a great experience in smart offices and modern facilities.

You will be given time to learn the computer system being used and you'll also be given great training on the company's product range so you feel confident to deliver a great service along with the rest of the small team.

The current offices are modern and smart and at the end of this year, we're planning to move to brand new, purpose built offices near the Stonehouse train station, with all newly decorated, new equipment and modern break out rooms for taking lunch or getting to know your new colleagues. We're also planning to add a table football table and other fun things to use at break times if that's your thing

Role and Responsibilities for Customer Service Advisor

Responding to customer enquiries in a timely manner
Inputting customer orders onto computer database
Communicating with internal departments to make sure customer orders are processed and delivered

Skills & Experience for Customer Service Advisor
To be successful in this role, it’s important that you've used a customer order processing software package before. This might be something like Oracle, Unit4, SAP, JD Edwards, NetSuite, Acumatica or anything which you can type customer details into. You should have previous customer service experience too.

to be accurate, with great attention to detail
the ability to manage your own workload
the ability to show patience and understanding, helping our customers wherever you can
