**Monday to Thursday - 8am to 5pm, Friday - 8am to 12.15pm**

**Job Purpose**:
To ensure all Components and Materials are available in line with the MRP demand and Production plans to meet customer demands on time.

**Day to day duties**:

- Raising and expediting of PO’s and schedules to meet all Production build plans.
- Review requirements based on MRP demand and respond to customer and production changes taking into account component stock policy, supplier manufacturing lead times, transport, machine capacity, tooling capacity and holidays.
- Maintain order file on the AS400 to ensure accurate data, especially arrears not supplied.
- Review daily and monthly shortage reports and take necessary actions.
- Report all stock discrepancies to Assistant Manager for investigation and corrective actions.
- Control design change and model run outs to achieve stock policy.
- Communicate at all levels within the Company, and also externally with Suppliers.
- Conform to QMS~IATF compliance with departmental and Company procedures.
- Management of suppliers in terms of adherence to schedules, labelling, paperwork, capacity issues, transport, packaging, etc.
- Ownership and accountability of the following KPI’s in line with financial year goals:

- OTD, Inventory (DOH) and transport (Inbound and Outbound).
- Attending meetings, projects, daily shortages, supplier escalation, change management, production regarding stock builds, etc.
- Any other duties requested by the Assistant Manager.

**Specific skills and experience to role**:

- A pro-active approach to problem solving with an ability to work well under pressure.
- Self-motivated and able to work on own initiative.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Motivated and organised with a pro-active approach.

**Qualifications**:

- Supply Chain and Operations Management - Level 3 Diploma. Advantageous.
- Languages
- Driving licence
