Material Planner

**Bee Lighting (part of the Pektron Group Ltd)** are looking for a permanent, full time
**Material Planner** to join our purchasing team. You will be responsible for planning and scheduling parts in line with production build plans and customer requirements working closely with the Production Planning and Purchasing departments.

**Key duties include**:

- Using spreadsheets to identify and order appropriate materials allowing for lead times and safety stock.
- Monitoring build schedules in advance of production and reporting any shortages to the Production Planning team.
- Raising purchase orders on suppliers and liaising with suppliers to ensure deliveries arrive on time.
- Maintain SAGE stock system, ensuring all data is correct against part numbers and live purchase orders.
- Assist the purchasing manager and production planning team leader with daily duties as required.
- Assist with stock takes.

**About you**:

- You will have strong IT skills, particularly MS Excel.
- Be able to prioritise your work load whilst maintaining accuracy and attention to detail and meeting deadlines.
- Good communication skills are key and you will need to demonstrate that your can work independently and within a team.

**Package**:

- 39 hours per week, 1pm finish on Fridays.

- Pension Scheme: auto enrolment after 3 months service, Employer contribution 3% and Employee contribution 5%.

- 23 days holiday: After 2 years employment (holiday years) extra days are added, increasing to 28 days service, plus bank holidays.
