Job overview

This is an opportunity to join the colorectal service in Nottingham. The post holder should be familiar with all aspects of general and specialised colo-proctology. The post holder will support the activities of the service including emergency general surgery, colorectal specialty on call and all elective services. The job is ideally suited towards developing an interest in colorectal surgery. The job is split across the City and QMC campuses.

Main duties of the job

Recent service reconfiguration has allowed the opportunity to develop a directorate with medical and surgical sub-specialities integrated along the lines care pathways rather than historical boundaries. The new integrated directorate will allow service provision, resource utilization and operational management to be more streamlined and efficient. The post holder will support the activities of the service including emergency general surgery, colorectal specialty on call and all elective services. The job is ideally suited towards developing an interest in colorectal surgery

**Salary**: The quoted salary will be on a pro rata basis for part time workers.
