An exciting opportunity has arisen within NHS Supply Chain for a **Head of Reward** to join our HR Senior Leadership Team.
In this newly created role, you will lead and shape SCCL’s Reward Strategy aiming at attracting, motivating, and retaining the right people needed to achieve our short
- and long-term business objectives/strategy.
Our Reward Strategy will embrace the need to secure competitiveness by providing remuneration, grading and benefits policies in-line with NHS Supply Chain’s strategy.
You will provide expert advice and leadership on pay, bands, and benefits, as well as lead the annual reward cycle and our approach to reviewing and recognising performance through our performance led bonus scheme, as well as Managing and developing a RewardPartner. This role has a key interface with our internal customers and is part of the HR Leadership Team.
**What will a Head of Reward do at NHS Supply Chain?**:

- Manage all relevant stakeholders, as well as ensure the right level of support is provided to the Executive, SLT and Heads of functions.
- Ensure that compensation policies, processes and tools are designed & implemented in compliance with NHS Supply Chain Reward strategy.
- Ensure any adaptations to these comply with new regulations & improve performance and effectiveness
- Co-ordinate reward function activities across NHS Supply Chain.
- Lead and/or contribute to other strategic topics or projects.
- Consider potential impacts of relevant legislation & regulations and external market forces and adjust Reward policies accordingly.

- **Compensation & Benefits** - With your comprehensive knowledge and skills in this area, you will act independently while guiding and training others on designing and implementing equitable, market-based, and cost-effective reward and recognition systems.
- **Policy Development and Implementation** - You will use your knowledge and skills in this field to develop and implement policies required to deliver the Reward Strategy.
- **Adaptive Mindset** - Paramount to enable a shift in mindset associated with assessing the facts and circumstances of the current situation and making the appropriate and innovative adjustments in reward scenarios**.**:
