- REG393923The Head of Community Engagement plays a critical role in fostering positive relationships between the university, local authorities, residents, and community stakeholders. This role requires a strategic leader with excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills, who will lead a team of Community Engagement staff and Student Community Ambassadors, focused on enhancing student behaviours within the surrounding community. The position reports directly to the Associate Director Student Living.

This is an exciting opportunity to join our dynamic team and contribute to the growth and success of the University of Nottingham and maintain our excellent relationship with students and the community.

To succeed in this role, you should bring proven experience in a relevant management position, with a focus in developing and maintaining positive relationships and reputation between stakeholders. Your exceptional leadership and team management skills will be crucial in driving your team to achieve outstanding results. You will have excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, allowing you to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels. You will also understand the complexity of issues regarding students and locals in the community together, and to have the passion to improve this for all.

This role focuses on; stakeholder relationship management, team leadership and management, developing community engagement strategies, student behaviour improvement, annual campaigns, developing preventative measures, and advocacy.
