As Head of Information Management and Compliance you will:

- Have a leadership approach consistent with the University’s expectations, behaviours and values.
- Champion understanding of Information Management practices and continue to embed a strategic approach to Information Management across the department, driving improvement in data quantity, quality and insight.
- Advise colleagues on information security and how data related activity should be managed to ensure compliance.
- Manage Freedom of Information requests, Subject Access Requests and data incidents.
- Identify opportunities for new processes or systems to improve activity, making recommendations for improvements in data and information provision.
- Sustain a customer focussed approach, working collaboratively across the department to determine the best practices to optimise operational support.

This position is offered on a permanent basis. Hours are full time (36.25 hours per week) involving a blend of on-campus and home working. Job share arrangements may be considered.

CARO is responsible for generating and coordinating philanthropic and volunteering support for the future development and success of the University.

We bring our global alumni community together through our alumni programme 'Connected we Thrive' which provides relevant, beneficial and engaging activities and communications through which alumni can gain professional skills and insights or find personal motivation and inspiration.

Through this activity we build a pool of engaged alumni, willing to advocate for the University, give their time to benefit students, staff or other alumni, or donate financially to support the student experience and world changing research.
