**Payroll Administrator**

MPA Recruitment is a fast-growing, Lisburn-based technology company that is revolutionizing the way that companies pay for employees. We are currently looking for an **Payroll Administrator** to join our growing team in Lisburn.

**Role Description**:
The Payroll Administrator is responsible for the processing of payroll transactions, including payroll taxes, deductions, and time cards. This position reports directly to the HR Manager.

**Core Duties & Responsibilities**:

- Process payroll taxes and time cards
- Process payroll deductions and time cards
- Post time and attendance reports to HRM and other departments
- Post pay period and time stamps for all employees based on company policy and procedures
- Post employee hours reports for all pay periods based on employee hours logged each pay period
- Answer questions regarding payroll taxes, deductions, and time cards as needed

**Other duties as assigned by management**

Job Requirements:
Knowledge & Skills: Knowledge of general accounting practices; Knowledge of payroll taxes, deductions, and time cards; Knowledge of general ledger functions; Ability to establish entry points through use of ledgers; Ability to calculate figures using common fractions; Ability to calculate figures using percentages; Ability to calculate amounts between positive figures using addition and subtraction; Ability to calculate amounts between negative figures using division.

**Salary**: £11.83 per hour

- Monday to Friday

- . Possess a minimum of 5 GCSEs at ‘A’, ‘B’, or ‘C’ grades or equivalent (including English Language and Mathematics).
- Have a minimum of two years’ experience working in an Accounts Office environment to include:
a) processing payments and income; and
b) working with a computerised accounts package.
3. Can demonstrate:
a) effective planning, organisation, prioritising skills and attention to detail and the ability to work individually or as a team member.
b) effective communication skills (both oral and written) and the ability to provide timely and accurate information.
c) a customer service orientation.
- Desirable:
Hold or be working towards a membership of an Accounting Body i.e. CCAB or AAT/ATI
