Our client, based in Lisburn, is one of Northern Ireland’s leading cloud based Accountancy Practices having recently been the first locally based practice to have achieved Xero Gold Partner Status. Xero is the global leading cloud accounting platform.

Working in the cloud allows them to work more closely with clients, providing them with pro-active business and tax advise based on up-date and accurate financial information.

Due to a period of sustained growth, we are now recruiting for a part time Bookkeeper/Payroll person to join this growing company.

**The Position**
- Requesting bookkeeping and VAT information from clients
- Sales and purchase ledger maintenance
- VAT return preparation and submission
- Bank and other Balance sheet item reconciliations on a regular basis
- Payroll (UK and Ireland) administration
- CIS administration
- Effective management and prioritisation of own workload, directly reporting to a Manager
- Maintenance of internal databases and systems in relation your client portfolio
- Have the ability to prepare Income & Expenditure accounts and Rental accounts

**THE PERSON**
- A minimum of 4-5 years accounts/bookkeeping experience
- A minimum of 2-3 years Sage Payroll experience
- Ideally Xero experience but not essential
- From day one, be willing to take on a sizable bookkeeping portfolio of differing sizes of clients and in industry sectors and deadlines and can manage the relationships
- Have excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Be flexible in your approach to both clients and other team members.
- Able to work to tight deadlines, both internal and statutory.

**SALARY / PACKAGE**
- A competitive basic salary up £14 - £15 per hour
- Flexible to agree 16-20 hrs per week as the role builds up
