Payroll Specialist

Our client, a well-established firm providing comprehensive accounting and financial services to businesses and individuals across various industries is seeking a Payroll Specialist to join their expanding team.
**Your Duties**:
- Process payroll for clients accurately and on time using specialised software systems.
- Calculate wages, deductions, and taxes based on employee information and relevant regulations.
- Maintain accurate records of employee attendance, hours worked, and other relevant data.
- Prepare and distribute payroll reports to clients and internal stakeholders as required.
- Respond to inquiries from clients and employees regarding payroll matters promptly and professionally.
- Stay updated on changes to payroll regulations and tax laws to ensure compliance.
- Assist with payroll-related audits and investigations as necessary.
- Collaborate with other team members to streamline payroll processes and improve efficiency.
- Provide exceptional customer service to clients, addressing their payroll-related concerns and inquiries effectively.
**Your Profile**:
- Proven experience working in payroll processing and administration.
- In-depth knowledge of payroll regulations, tax laws, and compliance requirements.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and calculations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Prior experience in an accounting or financial services firm is desirable but not essential.
**Assignment Information**:
- Position: Payroll Specialist.
- Location: Lisburn or Belfast Offices.
- Job Type: Full time, Permanent.
- Salary: £28,000-£32,000 based on experience.
