**Role responsibilities will include but not limited to**:

- Management of 2 Direct Reports in Accounts payable
- Responsible for Full-Cycle Accounts Payable processing including examining, verifying and reconciling a variety of transactions
- You will also ensure that accurate records are maintained and targets for prompt payments to be achieved.
- You will play a key role in leading the continuing improvement of the Accounts Payable Team, ensuring efficiency in processes from purchase order through to supplier payment.
- Daily supervision - person payable team, ensuring a smooth running of the department, including company credit cards, expenses
- Act as gatekeepers for efficient management of Credit card purchases including monitoring nature of spend, volume of credit cards and reporting to management
- Co-ordinating daily meetings, documenting task allocations and task completion
- Take control of the aged creditors
- clear queries, ensure debit balances and aging of items on the creditors ledger are kept to a minimum
- Assisting with the undertaking of all processing of invoices and supplier statement reconciliations, across several ledgers
- Working to ensure that all accounting systems facilitate best practice and excellent customer service
- Oversee the processing of intercompany invoices
- Partnering with the operations
- Ad hoc projects as designated by the Head of Shared Services
- Support legal entity migrations of existing agencies
- Lead and develop the AP team
- Dealing with all HR responsibilities for the AP team
- Setting objectives for the AP team
- Ongoing training/multiskilling and mentoring of the AP team

**Qualities**
- Excellent leadership skills
- Preferrable line management experience
- AAT qualified or final stages
- Good Finance Process/systems knowledge
- Can think outside the box
- Flexibility and Agile
- Can work under pressure and at pace
- Worked for a medium to large size dynamic business
- Able to commit to a hybrid working pattern of 2 days in the office
