Currently we have a vacancy for a part time role of Theatre Administrator to join our theatre team. This role will be based at the Pines Hospital, South Manchester.

We’re seeking an individual to work over 3 days within the Hospital, this will involve working every Monday and Friday plus one other day (by mutual agreement).

**The role is extremely varied and tasks will include**:

- To participate as a member of the Theatre Team and work alongside the theatre staff.
- Assist in preparing and checking stock levels and to organise replacement stock as and
when required, to ensure the smooth running of the operating department.
- Communicate with the suppliers regularly to anticipate any changes.
- Ensure regular ordering and delivery of implants is undertaken.
- To work closely with stock controller
- To enable cross site support in a timely manner
- Maintain collection and delivery of decontamination items, keeping staff informed.
- Ensure invoices are processed through the correct channels including appropriate proof
of delivery and authorisation.
- To provide reports and other data as required
- To support the maintenance of the theatre areas in a tidy manner
- The postholder will be required to observe standards and work practices relating to Health
and Safety, Confidentiality and Data Protection.
- Participate in ongoing education at theatre level including in-service training.
- Participate in developments in medical and nursing practice in order to improve
knowledge and competence
- To promote enthusiasm and a can-do attitude
- Any other duties which may be reasonably delegated by the theatre lead

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent

**Salary**: Up to £8,670.00 per year

Expected hours: No less than 16 per week
