**Records and Archives Officer / Permanent / £25,000 - £30,000 / Hybrid**
**Overview**:
My client, a global charitable foundation are looking to recruit a Records and Archives Officer to join their Information Governance and Risk Management team. The team provide a second line of defence and are responsible for information risk management as wellas related education and training for both information professionals and all staff globally.
**Role purpose**:
The role of the IGRM Records and Archives Officer is to provide records management advice and guidance to stakeholders across the organisation, supporting the company to manage and protect its records in line with global policy, legislative requirements, frameworksand standards.

**Responsibilities**:

- Assist with updating and maintaining the guidance and tools to support the organisation in effective and efficient management of its records and information
- Supporting the records management and archives functions by researching, managing and updating global records retentions assisting Countries, Business Units and functions to understand and manage their record holdings
- Ensuring that records are destroyed or correct
- Determine how long information should be kept, agree a policy for retention with the business, and ensure that information is disposed of in line with policy
- Implementing digital continuity principles into departmental record-keeping process
- Undertake the core management of records to and from storage and owns the supplier relationship

**Requirements**:

- Degree or diploma in Records Management of an Information and Records Mangement Society or Archives and Records Association (ARA) approved records management course
- Stakeholder Relationship Management Expertise
- Learning Delivery Experience
**Package**:

- £25,000 - £30,000
- Monday to Friday
- 9am-5pm
- Hybrid working
