**Preston Vocational Centre, St Pauls Road, Preston**

Preston Vocational Centre, a charitable subsidiary of Community Gateway Association, offers help and support to some of the most vulnerable young people in Preston. We provide quality vocational training in construction skills as well as support with personal development as well as helping learners to take the next steps towards further education, training and employment.

We’re looking for new Trustees to join our Board - people who care passionately about empowering young people to achieve their potential in an inclusive and respectful environment. The Board makes important strategic and financial decisions, monitors performance and develops plans to help effect positive change. They make sure PVC is well run and financially resilient.

This is an opportunity to join an experienced and dedicated Board committed to making a difference to young people's lives.

The roles will be voluntary and unpaid and although reasonable expenses are met, including travel. Board members are expected to attend and participate at six Board meetings per year and special events, where possible, as well as acting in an ambassadorial role for PVC.
