**OPPORTUNITY**:
This role prioritises people management and leadership. You'll lead Project Managers by example leveraging contemporary leadership styles, whilst also contributing within the senior leadership team, and have the opportunity to spearhead strategic business wide projects. You'll be responsible for the development and delivery of a new project management system, and at the same time ensure customer satisfaction, on-time delivery, and strong commercial performance.

**REQUIREMENTS**:
We are seeking an individual who has demonstrated expertise in people leadership and participation within a senior leadership team. This role also demands a successful history of leading strategic changes and effective management of multiple projects. A recognised project management qualification is also essential. Exceptional communication skills, adept decision-making, proven team leadership capabilities, client management proficiency, financial acumen, strong interpersonal and organizational skills, flexibility, and proficiency in Microsoft Office and Project software are also required for this position.

**PERSON SPECIFICATION**:
**YOU MUST HAVE**:

- Experience in contribution to a Senior Leadership Team
- Track record of leading strategic change both externally and internally within a business.
- Will have experience managing multiple projects at any one time in a fast-paced environment.
- A Project management qualification, e.g. APM, ILM / PMI / RICS PM etc.
- Ability to identify and make key decisions promptly regarding all aspects of project operations working as part of a senior group. Able to provide cover for any member of the Project Management Team.
- Positive and proactive approach to managing client demands and associated problem solving.
- Flexible approach to work, constantly aligning with changing priorities and timescales effecting working patterns (outside of normal working hours and weekends)
- An effective team player.
- Competent in Microsoft Office and Project.

**IT WOULD BE NICE FOR YOU TO HAVE**:

- A knowledge and understanding of surveying, a related industry or of the market sectors in which Plowman Craven operates.
- An understanding of the composition of technical quotations and/or tenders.
- Experience in operations management.
