We are currently recruiting for a Quality Assurance Assistant to provide support for our Quality Management systems.
The main purpose of the role is to ensure product, processes and procedures comply with relevant legislation such as ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 requirements.

This role combines the completion of administrative duties, with a hands-on elements for quality control inspection within a production environment.

The successful Quality Assurance Assistant will have the following skills & experience:
Essential
- A good understanding of ISO 9001 quality requirements.
- Experience of operating within a Quality Management System.
- Experience of working on own initiative and as part of a team.

Desirable
- Experience in handling retailers / customers.
- Experience in conducting internal audits.
- Experience of working within a manufacturing environment.

The successful Quality Assurance Assistant will be responsible for the following:

- Ensuring that Company quality procedures are adhered to.
- Ensuring quality documents are readily available, up to date, accurate, and complete at all times.
- To provide support to the Quality Assurance Manager.
- To assist the management and implementation of the Quality Management Systems.
- To conduct and support internal audits, and manage corrective actions plans.
- To maintain quality improvement plans.
- To update and review standard quality documentation / instructions.
- To ensure that investigations are actioned and completed in timely manner.
- To support with Change Control, Re-work and Planned Deviation processes.
- To support the Quality Control process as required, by assisting in checking and inspection of product.
- To maintain oversight of manufacturing / conversion processes documentation on a daily basis.
