Food manufacturers and brands benefit from our expertise in textural ingredients and are able to fast-track their product developments, using our pilot plant facilities.
The Technical Administrator is supporting the development team in the UK with any administrational tasks which is required. Additionally, the technical administrator also supports the responsible H&S person and requires also if required to support other departments within the UK organization.
Core Responsibilities:
- Data Entry - Transfers handwritten notes from Technologists into our Recipe Management system (SAP)
- Technical Purchasing - Organises and follows purchasing processes for any technical orders from the Development Department.
- Courier - Organises nationally and internationally sending of samples and other goods.
- Travel Arrangements - Organises and arrange any travel arrangements for the UK business, if required.
- Customer visits - Supports the Technical Assistant Lead with customer visits, such as organising catering
- Reception Duties - Answer the door and make sure that visitors are being attended to
- H&S Admin - Supports the responsible H&S Person on site with any admin work which might be required
- Exchange - Coordinate exchange with German counterpart to improve admin processes
- Event Planning - Support and arrange company internal events
- Celebration arrangements - Organising celebration cards and vouchers for employees for any anniversary
- Support - Occasionally support other departments such as customer service, purchasing and Quality Management in Administrational tasks
Mandatory requirements:
- GCSE, or similar required in English and Math’s
- Administrative experience in a commercially focused business
- English fluency, both written and spoken
- Very good MS-Office package skills and confident to work with database systems
- Confident communication skills with Stakeholders of the business
- Able to work self-dependent and motivated
Desirable requirements:
- Degree, Certificate in Service and Administration Skills
- Work experience in a technically focused food business
- Second language is desirable
Required behaviors and skills:
- Attention to detail with administration and organizational skills
- Excellent team player and communication skills
- Independent and structured way of working
