**Your role**

As the Trainee Credit Control Assistant, you will be responsible for providing administration support to the Group Credit Controller by maintaining accurate payment records and managing debt.

**The main duties of the role include**:

- Handling queries from insurance companies, fleet companies, garages, and colleagues.
- Tidy accounts and send copies for required accounts daily.
- Liaising between different departments to facilitate resolutions to queries.
- Sending out monthly statements, as well as other information and documents needed for certain accounts.
- Updating the WOC on a weekly basis.
- Sending out cash reports on a weekly basis and assisting with any queries.
- Chasing overdue payments.

**Your profile**
- Good administration kills
- Interest in accounts and credit control
- Strong numerical skills with a keen eye for detail
- Have basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel, creating spread sheets and using basic formulas
- Able to handle tasks that may be repetitive in nature, whilst still maintaining a high level of accuracy
- Must be eligible to work in the UK.

**Salary and hours**

Paid at National Minimum Wage guide (NMW): 23 and over is £10.42 per hr - £18,965 pa, 21 to 22 is £10.18 per hr - £18,528 pa, 18-20 is £7.49 per hr - £13,632 pa Under 18 is £5.28 per hr - £9,610 pa.

Working hours, Monday - Friday, 8.30am to 4pm (35 hours per week)
