EdTech with Central London offices, offering hybrid working (2:3 Office:Home) is looking for a curious and ambitious QA / Test Lead to take on a highly responsible role within the team and to support ongoing Digital Transformation. This role offers the chanceto work across a range of digital platforms and products, so presents a great opportunity for someone who likes variety and where you will need to understand the business.

**About the role**:

- You will own, develop and manage the governance around the QA framework.
- To inform & educate the business on Quality Assurance practices and processes, complying to the defined and developed testing frameworks by you.
- Advising and liaising closely with Product, Project and Maintenance Teams on testing requirements, practices and plans. You will be involved in the early stage of all new product, service or project discussions to get insight into the vision, aims and objectivesof the product and its users.
- Development and implementation of QA plans and strategies, working in close collaboration with stakeholders and developers.
- Working closely with others to ensure end-to-end requirements are taken into account and that business models can be supported effectively.
- Working with the internal teams to ensure the acceptance criteria are understood and included in requirements and test plans or strategy.
- Work with developers and Project Managers on planning the relevant testing requirements and their execution, ensuring ongoing validation becomes integral in product, service and platform development.
- To liaise, agree and ensure QA practices, methodologies and processes are adhered to by suppliers, ensuring appropriate governance.
- Schedule testing activities with Project Managers, Developers and Product Owners to ensure these align to the product development or project needs.
- Validate development partners’ testing methodologies and practices and ensure they comply with needs.
- Ensure a rigorous sign-off and acceptance process and framework in place to support processes.

**About You**
- A solid track record in QA assurance, governance, QA management, planning and execution.
- Good communicator across a number of disciplines, including putting proposals forward to senior management where required
- Good organisational skills and able to re-schedule parallel projects, requiring different testing cadences and needs.
- Strong experience of digital testing processes, frameworks and tools as well as an in-depth understanding of digital platforms. Learning technologies / LMS would be a bonus.
- Experience in instructing & managing test practices, methodologies and processes at partners and developers including stress testing, regression testing, smoke testing, optimisation testing, end-to-end testing and benchmarking
- Ability to validate and evaluate test methodologies, practices and test reports of development partners and suppliers and advise or instruct suppliers where other approaches are required.
- Ability to evolve and develop testing processes and develop frameworks, as well as researching and proposing the use of relevant tools at the relevant times
- Experience of digital product & platform development and testing practices and processes
