Role**:Inside Sales representative**

We are seeking a dynamic Inside Sales person with excellent sales experience, for an established industrial supplies business.

Our client is an independent builders Merchant that provides a range of building supplies from timber & sheet materials, roofing, landscaping, drywall solutions, PPE and more. They are keen to bring on an Inside Sales person that will lead and effectively drive branch sales forward in the area maximising margins and profitability for both new and existing customers.

This is a fantastic time to join the business as they currently have access to a huge pool of opportunity. This individual should be hungry for growth, bringing energy and persistence to the role, as they will have the opportunity to grow their own portfolio with future business incentives possible. The role will report directly to the Sales manager and join the current small Sales team of two.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop new business for the company.
- Collaborate with the current Sales team to maximise opportunities.
- Communicate effectively with customers to ensure profitable quotes and secure on-going business.
- Liaise with Senior Management to implement plans.

**Requirements**:

- Excellent customer service skills.
- In-depth knowledge of the building industry.
- Previous experience in the construction industry advantageous.
- Drive to expand the company by bringing in new sales, customers and areas.
- Strong, clear communicator.
- Able to work on own initiative and as part of a team.
- Negotiation skills to secure best deals for the company
- Proven results of delivering success and meeting sales goals.

**Experience**:

- Previous sales experience.
- Any understanding of drywall, plasterboard/insulation advantageous.

This role is 5 days a week, office based 8-5 hours.
