The role of Jaguar Land Rover’s Corporate Affairs & Motorsport department is to protect and promote our brand to a range of internal and external stakeholders.

Corporate Affairs owns the communication strategy for the business, ensuring high quality, integrated and impactful communications to engage, align and influence across all stakeholders. That includes internal and external audiences - including the effective management of Jaguar Land Rover’s communication channels.

**WHAT YOU'LL NEED**
- Support the development and delivery of a corporate and strategic Refocus internal communications and engagement plan.
- Assist with the creative development of the global monthly Refocus 2.0 updates to our global and senior leader audience.
- Support the sourcing and development of engaging stories, written, film and digital assets for internal communications channels relating to priority transformation and change initiatives at a programme/pillar level targeting global and senior leader audiences.
- Elevate the wealth of stories and promote key achievements/milestones from within the Refocus 2.0 programme aligned to the company’s strategy.
- Act as a corporate affairs gatekeeper to ensure consistent and precise messaging across all transformation communications aligned to Reimagine and Refocus 2.0.
- Stakeholder management - create a strong network across the business.
- Develop opportunities to enhance and improve existing communications channels including content on sharepoint / intranet / newsletter and experiential channels.
- Prepare reports, presentations and management information for the leadership team and other stakeholders, using data and metrics to report and provide feedback/ improvement recommendations on engagement good practice.

**WHAT YOU'LL NEED**

**Essential**:

- 3+ years communications experience
- Ability to identify good stories from across the business
- Excellent communication skills - both spoken and written
- Must be able to produce communications which are relevant and easy-to-digest for all levels
- Experience of the production and management of content and/or events, including photo/film shoots/briefs/storyboards as required
- Experience in change management communications
- Commercially astute - used to working in a business environment
- Able to negotiate and influence across the organisation
- Knowledge of key communications and engagement practices - both tactical and strategic
- Experienced in events management
- Strong ability to organise self, operate independently with mínimal direction as well as in a team and prioritise workload in order to meet tight deadlines
- A good level of IT competence is required in programmes such as Excel, Word and Power Point

**Desirable**:

- Experience of external corporate media relations - issues and crisis handling
- Working in stand-alone communications role with large organisation and/or a diverse customer group
- Managing sensitive communications issues
- Automotive, global, and/or matrix business environment experience
