Bookkeeper
I am currently recruiting on behalf of an internal wholesale distribution company. This company will allow you to further develop your skills on an international level. They are seeking an ambitious individual who is able to confidently bookkeep and provideassistance to the management accountant. It is imperative that you have strong excel skills.
Key Responsibilities include:

- Deal with purchase ledger, supplier invoices and statements
- Checking Supplier invoices, matching to delivery notes and purchase orders
- Raising Purchase orders
- Reconcile supplier accounts with statements
- Reconcile Bank accounts
- Set up and maintain supplier accounts
- Allocate payments made to suppliers
- Process expenses charged to company credit cards
- Sending out customer statements and chasing payments
- Maintaining Costings
- Bookkeeping property company accounts
- Support the accounts team as and when required
- Maintain Inventory Reconciliation
- Assist with Sales Reports - download from Online platform
- Balance sheet Reconciliations
- Assist with KPI reporting

Essential:

- Confident and driven
- Analytical mind, strong attention to detail, accuracy and problem solving
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong Excel and general IT skills
- Experience within Accounts Payable (Purchase Ledger)
- Some Accounts Receivable experience (Sales Ledger)

Desirable:

- Task Automation using Macros
- Creating KPI reports using PIVOT TABLES
- Knowledge of building complex formulas
- Cell formatting
- Managing large data with functions: IF, Sum, Index, v look ups
- Manipulate date, time, text and arrays

Working hours are 8AM- 5PM Monday - Friday with the opportunity of Hybrid working once training is completed. Salary of £30,000 with opportunities of progression within the company.
