Experienced Bookkeeper
This is an excellent opportunity to work with a small business where you will be a key member of the team. The company has a range of client's mainly domestic retail clients, to builder development projects. Being a small family run company, we have built ourreputation on a high level of customer service.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Monthly payroll, including expenses
- Payments of suppliers and sub-contractors.
- HMRC Returns, including PAYE / VAT
- Support senior management in daily bookkeeping to ensure effective running of operations
- Assist in monthly company and project report preparation, to include management accounts
- As a small team, assisting in general office admin and answering telephone
- Experience with Sage 50 accounts
- Bookkeeping experience or AAT / ICB qualified
- Previous experience of managing accounts payable and received
- Strong work ethic
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong IT skills
This is an Full-time, Permanent office based position at their Laindon Office, Monday to Friday, 9.00 to 5.30
