**Finance Assistant**

**Operation**

Working within the Finance team based at Hillthorn, 39 hours per week:
Day Shift Role
- Monday - Thursday 07:55 - 16:35
- Friday 07:55 - 13.35

**Responsibilities**

Ensure that financial deadlines are met and the work completed is checked and accurate. Support team work by being flexible and able to work overtime as and when required to fulfil financial demand.

**Daily tasks and Qualifications required**
- Manage accounts payable inbox and respond to queries in a timely manner.
- Match supplier invoices to PO’s and input onto SAP.
- Prepare payment proposals and miscellaneous bank payments. Input onto bank for approval.
- Send remittance advices to supplies.
- Ensure all payments are allocated correctly.
- Reconcile supplier accounts on a monthly basis, ensuring that all payments are allocated correctly. Investigate any unallocated payments.
- Monthly reconciliation of supplier accounts.
- Set up new suppliers onto SAP in line with policy.
- Process expenses & credit card payments.
- Assist with internal & external audit requests.
- Update purchase ledger desk top procedures.
- Support finance team to achieve departmental vision and objectives.
- Any other duties as covered by contract of employment.
- Part Qualified AAT member or working towards a relevant accountancy qualification.
- Basic and Intermediate word and excel qualification.

**Salary**: £22,000.00-£24,495.00 per year
