Job Introduction
This is a unique opportunity, with the post holder being instrumental in delivering a step change in partnership working in the visitor economy throughout Sussex.

The successful applicant will work collaboratively with representatives from central, regional, and local government and private sector stakeholders from across Sussex, to deliver a more sustainable and inclusive visitor economy for the region.

The role, which is jointly funded by East Sussex County Council, Brighton & Hove City Council and West Sussex County Council, will be hosted by Brighton & Hove City Council as part of the VisitBrighton team, directly reporting to the local authority lead from VisitBrighton, and jointly accountable to the local authority lead from West Sussex County Council and East Sussex County Council.

This is an opportunity for a visitor economy professional with demonstrable experience of partnership working and experience in delivering additional funding opportunities and income streams, to develop their career in a fast-moving environment with scope to innovate and develop services.

**Fixed term for**: 24 months

We would expect the majority of roles to be either frontline/office-based or working in a hybrid way (Options 1 or 2). By exception, and where there is a hard to recruit “professional” /specialist role for a fixed term temporary assignment, recruiting managers may consider allowing the role holder to spend the majority of their time working remotely from home, with only occasional attendance at the office required (Option 3 below). As the Council is still currently piloting its hybrid working arrangements and to ensure consistent and equitable treatment, such arrangements in Option 3 would need to be discussed and agreed in consultation with your HR business partner in the first instance.

Your starting salary will be pro rata if the above position is less than 37 hours or term-time only.
