At Providence Row, our vision is that everyone has a safe home and a community in which to belong. In order to achieve this, we want to support and accompany people who are homeless or at risk of homelessness on their journey to recovery, especially those who are most vulnerable and least likely to access services elsewhere.
We work with around 1,200 homeless and vulnerably housed people a year in London, offering an integrated service of crisis support, advice, recovery, learning and training programmes. Central to our work are our core values of Compassion, Respect, Inclusiveness, Empowerment and Justice. These inform the content, style and delivery of all our service

**The Role**

Based at our day Centre, you would be part of a team of volunteers that welcome people who are struggling with homelessness, are vulnerably housed or require support in addressing their substance misuse issues. You will work alongside experienced staff members and you will always be supported. The team assist the Welcome Area Coordinator in ensuring the smooth operation of the centre, enabling our other departments to remain effective in supporting the people we work with.

This is an ideal role for warm, friendly people with excellent communication skills who would like to make a difference and support our service users who are facing a challenge in their lives. Ongoing training and support is offered to our volunteers to enhance their skills and experience.
