District Student Volunteering Lead

London, United Kingdom Sja's West Full time

Volunteering is a fantastic way to enhance your CV, meet new people, and learn lifesaving skills.

St John Ambulance is the charity that steps forward in the moments that matter, to save lives and support communities. Each year, across the country, our Student Volunteering programme sees thousands of university students learn essential first aid skills, many hundreds of volunteering opportunities in a wide range of roles, and a full calendar of fundraising, development and social activities.

The Student Volunteering Team is looking to appoint a District Student Volunteering Lead to provide advice and support to Student Volunteering Units and First Aid Societies in the London and South district. You will work closely with the Area and District Management to raise the profile of Student Volunteering and be a first point of contact for any questions or issues. There may be opportunities to line manage a District Student Volunteering Officer depending on operational requirements.

Experience and interest in both the university volunteering environment is important for this role. While this opportunity is specifically focused on the London and Southdistrict, being located there is not a requirement and we would welcome applicants from any area of the region or beyond.

If you have any further questions about this role, please contact myurri.lohesan@sja.org.uk

The closing date for this vacancy is Thursday 6th July 2023
