Working in our Human Resources department, you will be required to provide counsel to the company regarding policies and procedures for all areas of the employee life cycle, to offer guidance on recruitment, change processes, employee performance, maintaining employee relations and occasional project work.

- Monitor team and Company Performance Indicators (KPI’s) such as recruitment costs, turnover per employee and retention rates.
- First point of contact for all day-to-day HR queries across the business.
- Monitoring absence and lateness statistics and advising managers on appropriate action.
- Advising on recruitment, interviewing and co-ordinating appointment processes for successful applicants.
- Responsible for all onboarding and offboarding activities including inductions and exit interviews.
- Identifying development needs and assisting managers with Performance Improvement Plans.
- Providing advice and producing documentation for change processes. HR information systems to access, input and compile data.
- Maintain and update the employee data and Time Management System on a daily/weekly basis.
- Ensure monthly payroll is processed accurately and submitted in line with the deadlines into the Payroll System.
- Monitoring, reviewing, and updating all HR policies and ensuring these are in line with current legislation.
- Managing all ER cases from end to end, disciplinaries, grievances, long and short-term sickness absence cases, performance management, maternity, paternity and flexible working.
- Guiding, coaching, and delivering training to managers on HR best practice.
- Manage the employee engagement team supporting them to deliver the agreed activities.
- Assist with Charity days and Health and Wellbeing campaigns across the business.
- Assist with other duties, as necessary, to ensure the smooth operation of the Human Resources department.

**Qualifications and experience**
- CIPD Level 3 or above
- Proven working experience as an HR Advisor
- In-depth knowledge of employment law and HR best practices
- Experience with HR software
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage confidential and sensitive information
