Product Sub Editor

Studio Production produces world-class visual assets for NET-A-PORTER, MR PORTER, YOOX, THE OUTNET and ONLINE FLAGSHIP STORES Powered by YOOX NET-A-PORTER GROUP. Operating from our London HQ and US studio in New Jersey as well as Italian centres for excellences, our team includes Studio Coordinators, Product Library, Styling, Size and Fit, Photography, Video, Retouch, Product Editorial and Translations teams, with many working across a combination of all Group’s websites each week.

Studio Production are now seeking a talented Product Sub Editor to join the team. Some of the essentials for you to know are:

Here is a breakdown of what you’ll be doing:

- Copy check uploads on both the CMS and live site, working to tight deadlines to ensure all product descriptions are well-written in a concise, accurate and informative manner, showcasing all relevant key details.
- Sub copy details, checking accuracy of copy against images as well as grammar, spelling etc.
- Ensure that all editorial content across product pages reflects the aims, values and house style of NET-A-PORTER.
- Check accuracy of upload by checking all click-through functionality, size and fit tabs and dropdowns on the product page.
- Maintain & contribute to the NET-A-PORTER Style Guide.
- Conduct regular audits of the site to check for consistency and accuracy.
- Update live copy with amend requests from RCs, Stock Comparison teams and Buyers.
- Attend writer feedback sessions.
- Support Product Editors in development and training exercises.
- Assist with DLP (Designer Landing Page) audits and seasonal updates.
- Contribute ideas for product page development.
- Various ad hoc duties.

The type of person we are looking for:

Previous experience in proof-reading and sub-editing in a fashion ecommerce environment.
- Experience with CMS.
- Sound knowledge of fashion, designers and trends.
- Excellent organisation and communication skills.
- Excellent grammar skills and ability to adapt to house style.
- Extremely detail-oriented.
- Excellent time-management skills; can manage a high volume of work at a fast pace.
- A team player who will enjoy working in a large team.
