Aspiring Sub-editor Development Opportunity

We are seeking an exceptional individual to join our editorial team as a sub-editor, focusing on developing their skills in article editing, headline writing, and publishing.
About the RoleThis six-month paid contract is designed to provide comprehensive training in the news production process, allowing the successful candidate to learn from experienced editors and contribute to the success of our publications.
The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in current affairs and financial news, excellent communication and teamwork skills, and a keen eye for detail.
Key Responsibilities- Sub-editing articles for our various editions, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and engagement
- Collaborating with editors to produce high-quality content under tight deadlines
- Maintaining the highest standards of quality and attention to detail in all published materials
The successful candidate can expect a competitive salary of approximately £25,000 per annum, along with a comprehensive benefits package, including participation in a Creative Access support programme.
