We understand that dealing with a claim for either Motor, Property or Liability can be a stressful and overwhelming experience, which is why we aim to make the claims process as smooth and hassle-free as possible.
Founded in 2018, MPL are part of the ERGO Group by being their own in-house third-party administrator. We manage multiple line claims for both it’s own and external customers. We are ahead of the curve by using cutting edge technology to help enhance our services provided and revolutionise the insurance claims outsourcing arena. Using MPL Technology, our expert team designs and builds claims management products from first principles, enable us to have unparalleled features and a seamless, modern experience for our customers.
**Our exciting opportunity**
In this role, as a Third Party Intervention, Claims Adjuster, you will be targeted on negotiating the third party claimants into our services, working alongside your top performing team in delivering excellent service to all customers. This is a fast paced role where no two days are the same.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Negotiating the third-party claimants into our services, collaborating with your top performing team in delivering excellent service to all customers.
- Using cutting edge claims management technology, you will attempt to mitigate the costs of claims by contacting claimants to provide services as appropriate to their needs.
- The role includes working with our external business partners including Insurance companies, brokers, vehicle repairers and vehicle suppliers to ensure the smooth and effective completion of our clients claim.
- Review policy terms and conditions to ensure compliance with regulations and guidelines.
- Provide exceptional customer service and support to policyholders throughout the claims process.
- Manage invoices received from the authorised hire and repair partners, ensuring they are accurate, and register payments onto the claims system for approval.
**Your skills and experience**:
- Passionate for providing the best customer service.
- Proven experience within a phone based role.
- Experience in multitasking with good attention to detail.
- Professional communication skills, written and oral.
- Good IT skills with the ability to use bespoke systems and Microsoft.
**What next?**
The interview process for this position includes two stages. The first stage is an initial screening call, which will be conducted by a member of the Talent Acquisition team. During this call, you can expect to be asked about your experience and qualifications, as well as your interest in the position.
If you are successful in passing the initial screening call, you will progress to the second stage of the interview process, which is an in-person interview with both a member of the Talent Acquisition team and the Claims Team Leader. This interview will be more in-depth and may involve more technical questions about your previous experience and transferable skills so we can assess the suitability for the requirements of the role.
**Background checks**
To meet our regulatory obligations as an FCA-authorised financial services company, we need to do some background checks on all new hires. That means conducting a DBS, Credit and References check.
