**Our exciting opportunity**

In this role as a Property Claims adjuster, you will be responsible for reviewing insurance policies, investigating claims, and liaising with policyholders, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure that claims are resolved efficiently and effectively. You will also negotiate settlements and manage the claims process from start to finish, ensuring that all parties are kept always informed of progress.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Work closely with clients, customer and insurance providers building long lasting relationships.
- Inbox management responding to enquires from cover holders, clients, and brokers.
- Working on a caseload of insurance claims keeping the file up to date and customers informed.
- Take responsibility of the claims from start to completion including, processing, monitoring and negotiate settlement of claims.
- Be a pivotal part of the customer journey throughout their insurance claim.
- Ability to prioritise your workload and communicate well to the rest of the team.
- Ensure that all claims are processed in compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
- Investigate all claims, making the decision on liability, ensuring all evidence is gathered and recorded accurately.
- Assessing the damage to property, determining the cause of loss, and estimating the cost of repairs or replacement.
- Provide knowledge of insurance and detailed claims management process.

**Your skills and experience**:

- Property Claims experience is essential for this role.
- Understanding of property insurance policy wording.
- Passionate for providing the best customer service.
- Experience preventing and resolving complaints would be advantageous.
- Experience in multitasking with good attention to detail.
- Professional communication skills, written and oral.
- Good IT skills with the ability to use bespoke systems and Microsoft.

**What next?**

The interview process for this position includes two stages. The first stage is an initial screening call, which will be conducted by a member of the Talent Acquisition team. During this call, you can expect to be asked about your experience and qualifications, as well as your interest in the position.

If you are successful in passing the initial screening call, you will progress to the second stage of the interview process, which is an in-person interview with both a member of the HR team and a Claims Team Leader. This interview will be more in-depth and may involve more technical questions about your previous experience and transferable skills so we can assess the suitability for the requirements of the role.
