Starcare have an exciting opportunity to work as an effective member of the HR and Recruitment office on a fixed term basis. You will assist in providing administrative support to the HR services function team whilst undertaking a Level 3 Business Administration qualification.

A Business Administration apprenticeship means you will be gaining a work-based qualification and valuable business skills. Joining the office environment will allow you to develop the desirable soft skills to future proof your career in Business Administration.

About the role
- Providing office support for both employee and customer relation
- Answering phones and connecting calls to the proper department
- Support the team with the recruitment campaigns and induction process
- Maintain organised files and records of business activity
- Work collaboratively with Finance and Personnel Team, to ensure the smooth process of the onboarding and exiting of staff
- Support and set up personnel files and pre-employment documentation
- Process and store personnel information on sharepoint and HR system.
- Complete regular welfare calls with new starters
- To attend Team meetings and contribute to the work of the HR Services Team.
- Take minutes during formal meetings
- General administrative tasks including production of Word documents and reports, Excel spreadsheets and PowerPoint presentations.
- Meeting visitors providing a professional welcome to the business and refreshments as required.
- Where a business administrator has not already achieved Level 2 English and Math's, they must do so before taking the end-point assessment.
- Performing other administrative duties as and when required.

About you

You will have a personable approach to your work, with the ability to communicate to a variety of stakeholders. You’ll be proactive and have a solution driven approach with strong administration skills.
