**Brief overview of the role**:
Our IT Service Desk Administrator Apprentice will be responsible for assisting with the building of IT equipment such as PC’s, Laptops, Tablets and Mobile Phones. You will be required to assist the Service Desk Analysists with tasks relating to user administration.

**Working week**:
Monday - Friday between the hours of 8:00am and 5:30pm

**Positions available**:

**Vacancy description**:
Main duties include:

- Manage the creation, editing and termination of user accounts following agreed policies and procedures.
- Administration of Active Directory
- Administration of commercial selling systems
- Administration of fobs within the business
- Setting up Mobiles and Tablets
- Setting up Laptops and PC’s
- Maintaining the WEEE waste register and reporting to Office Coordinator when collection is required.
- Helping with IT Projects as instructed by the IT Management team
- Supporting the Service Desk team with small tasks

**Requirements and prospects**

**Qualifications Required**:
GCSE Maths & English (Grade C/4 or above)

**Desired skills**:
What you'll need to succeed:

- Keen eye for detail as data entry is key to the role
- Excellent time management skills whilst working to deadlines
- Great communication skills and telephone manner

**Personal Qualities**:

- Ambitious and motivated with a positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Desire to embark on a career in IT

**Training to be provided**:
Successful completion of this apprenticeship gives you an accredited Level 3 Information Communication Technician qualification:
The qualification has core knowledge elements, before branching out into one of the following pathways:

- IT Support Technician
- Network Technician
- Digital Communications Technician

Your Tutor, Pathway Planner and Employer will decide the best pathway for you to follow.

All training is delivered online in virtual classrooms twice per week

You will undertake Functional Skills for English and/or Maths if needed
