**The Role:
**Brook Street are proud to be working in partnership with the Valuation Office Agency, based in Durham. We are recruiting for Administrative Officers to work to support internal and external customers who may contact the office with any issues or queries.This is an excellent opportunity to work within the Public Sector and provide an essential service to the Valuation Office Agency and critical partners.

**Assignment: until end March 2023, with the possibility of extension
Rate of Pay: £11.30 per hour
Hours: Monday - Friday 37 hours per week
Location: Durham
Working arrangements: Office-based**

You will build good working relationships both internally (with your team and peers) and externally across the VOA. You will gain an understanding of your customer's needs and support them in resolving these.
- Dealing with the customers daily and focusing on ensuring that they are content and understand our processes.
- Providing clear information and advice to customer whilst ensuring that they provide all necessary information.
- Providing assistance, including explaining procedures or policies, giving reasons for enquiries and justifying decisions.
- Allocating work to others in your team including quality assurance.
- General Admin including using our tools and databases to gather and analyse data.

**o Customer focused and have strong customer service skills.
- Flexible and dedicated.
- Good at communicating with different people and listening.
- Have good keyboard skills.
- Have a working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.

Must be able to pass a BASIC DBS check.
