GreenSpark Utilities provide services on water sewerage and drainage infrastructure in the water industry and private sector. It has an advanced and extensive range of machinery, equipment, and experience for identifying potential issues and providing cost effective solutions from blocked drains to cleaning large diameter pipelines.

The core role of the Operations Supervisor is to run the day-to-day operations of a team of operatives offering services across the Northeast. Prime responsibility for workshop and warehousing standards, PPE, asset, and inventory control.

You’ll be taking customer enquiries, quoting, and estimating as well as planning projects and ensuring required materials and other resources are organised to ensure on time implementation.

You will support with managing all aspects of the vehicle fleet ensuring internal systems, maintenance and records are legal and compliant according to DVSA regulatory requirements. Dealing with breakdowns and repairs when needed.

You’ll act as a role model, coach and mentor for direct reports and other team members to support compliance to all safe and legal requirements focusing on high operational standards. Managing recruitment, attendance, holidays, and all other aspects of the colleague life cycle

The successful applicant should ideally have a minimum 5 to 10 years' relevant water industry experience working across the spectrum of environmental drainage solutions with active involvement in day-to-day project management and the ability to set up and deliver on new projects.

An understanding of health and safety standards, processes and procedures, experience within the drainage, construction, civil engineering, waste or utilities, service industry or reactive maintenance industries would be an advantage.

Be flexible in your working pattern which will from time to time involve working evenings, weekends and overnight or being available on call.

**Essential Skills**
- Full driver CPC and knowledge of O license registration
- A minimum 5 years' relevant experience working across the spectrum of water utilities and environmental drainage solutions
- Experience of organising daily operations in a depot environment
- Previous experience of setting up procedures and process from scratch and introducing them to the business
- Proven and experienced in managing people with fairness and consistency
- Excellent organisational skills
- Able to multitask, prioritise, and manage time efficiently
- Commercially and customer oriented
