**About the role**
We are looking for a Data Coordinator (Electricity Transmission & Distribution), based in Ratho, Edinburgh. Based in the UK, this is an exciting role as part of international and cross functional team supporting the planning and coordination of our US powerline inspection teams. This role will have a significant impact in preventing wildfires.
**Tasks**
- Organisation, processing and delivery of photographic data on a variety of electricity transmission & distribution scopes and projects
- Liaising with clients to determine requirements for data quality and delivery.
- Creation and maintenance of written capture standards for the field teams
- Collaborating with the rest of the team to ensure swift and accurate delivery.
- Management of progress tracking systems
- Completion of ad-hoc requests relating to data delivery
- Occasional support of UK planning for US data collection operations, including:
- Tracking of project progress
- Creation of work packs
- Compiling all required information for pilots to complete work successfully
- Communicating with client control rooms to ensure no airspace conflicts.
- Occasional weekend work (paid or time off in leu)
**Responsibilities**
- Responsible for the quality and timeliness of the deliverable data
- Responsible for ensuring field teams are fully aware of the capture requirements and standards and advising if data deviates from these requirements.
- Responsible for ensuring deliverables are tracked and traceable.
- Responsible for taking on client feedback and creating actions based on it.
- Continuously seek innovative and more efficient ways of working.
- Working collaboratively with all areas of the business.
Full training will be provided.
**Who would be a good fit to our role**
**Qualifications/Experience**
- Interest or background in photography, image processing and data management including data entry, excel & databases.
- An interest in electricity transmission & distribution and the prevention of wildfires.
- Computer literacy, including an understanding of MS office (especially Excel).
- Strong attention to detail.
- Good organizational abilities.
- Strong desire to meet deadlines.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
