Receptionist/customer Service Advisor

**Overview**:
Aspire are an award-winning plumbing and heating company based in Leith, Edinburgh.
Please note there is **NO opportunity for home or hybrid working.**
**Main responsibilities**:
- Passionate about delivering a high-quality service to clients and staff.
- Have a basic understanding of repairs relating to plumbing and heating.
- Process and prepare financial and business forms and reports. Including taking payments, raising quotations / invoices for customers, checking clients accounts are up to date and preparing report
- Take full ownership of calls and solve problems with a positive can-do attitude.
- Meet and greet customers in our busy showroom.
- Passionate about product promotion and growing our business.
- Client account management, data input and ensuring all records are up to date appropriately.
- Co-ordinate appointments and liaise with engineers on a regular basis.
- Show confidence when faced with challenging situations.
- Manage deliveries and ensuring the showroom is tidy and stocked with relevant brochures and leaflets.
- Managing filing system and Recycling management.
**Skills and experience**:
- Strong communication and listening skills.
- Ability to multi-task and manage time effectively is important.
- Ability to organise, plan and prioritise own workload.
- Ability to form effective working relationships, work as part of a team and on own initiative.
- Be proactive in looking for ways in which you can improve your customers experience by suggesting solutions and improvements.
- Ability to understand and empathise with customer needs, with a real desire to help all customers, no matter how challenging the request.
- Adaptable to continuous change, and flexible in acquiring new skills.
- Demonstrate positivity and enthusiasm about new/challenging tasks.
- Able to produce accurate reports to meet business targets.
- Maintain knowledge and understanding through self-development.
- A basic understanding of all aspects of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, office and publisher)
- Must have 2 years experience working in a fast-paced office environment.
**Desirable**
- Experience using Big Change database
- Relevant experience working in a trade company
- Experience using Xero accounting software
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
**Salary**: £26,000.00 per year
