We have an exciting new opportunity for an Elective Access Support Officer within the Planned Care Team, working closely with the Corporate RTT Team and the four Divisions.

You will have a key role supporting the efficient and effective operational management of the transfer & tracking of patients from UHNM to various Independent Sector Partners, as well as working on many of the projects to support the Elective Recovery Plan.

We are looking for two outstanding Elective Access Support Officers who put our patients first, interacts well with the team, wants to develop professionally and has great problem solving skills.

As the Elective Access Support Officer you will play a crucial role within the Elective Recovery Plan, working closely with the RTT Team, CCG and independent sector partners, other NHS trusts, and operational Divisions.

This post offers an excellent opportunity for development, gaining exposure to a wide range of operational schemes to address the elective care backlog. Current focus include independent sector transfers, updating and managing the waiting list and providing clarity and robustness to transfer processes.

You will support the team in ensuring that national and local targets are delivered. You will lead on the management of patient, IS partner and CCG queries and to deputise for the Elective Access Support Manager where necessary.

We are looking forsomeonewho would like to develop their skillset within a role, that is able to demonstrate excellent inter-personal and communication skills, with the ability to forge and maintain relationships. Attention to detail is a must - accuracy is of paramount importance. The ability to manage a busy workload and to prioritise, quickly find solutions is essential.
