Opening May 2023, The Municipal Hotel Liverpool MGallery invites all life enjoyers to experience unique stories from the past but also to write the astonishing tales of the future. 178 bedrooms in a remarkable and inspiring landmark of the city. Time is of essence and at the heart of The Municipal’s story. Its iconic clock tower and bells giving the tempo to a timeless melody. Various restaurants, bars and a state of the art spa sanctuary including a pool, will offer everyone the place to have the time of their lives.

**A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A RESERVATIONS AGENT AT THE MUNICIPAL HOTEL**
- What you'll be doing..._

Reporting to the Revenue Manager you can expect your working day to include the following duties.
- To confidently handle all reservations and sales enquiries from future guests, OTA's, online booking platforms and organisations, delivering our brand excellence from first contact.
- To keep up to date with packages, hotel room types, facilities and promotions and upselling to our guests.
- Have a strong knowledge of hotel rates and the competitor set.
- Working with Opera Reservations systems to ensure all data entry is precise, completed in a timely manner and in line with Reservations procedures.
- To liaise with guests in regards to special requests or updates prior to arrival,
- To create and maintain function sheets for events, providing exceptional attention to detail and delivering updates to required departments.

**WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU**

To succeed in the role of Reservations Agent you will need the following qualities and skills.
- The confidence to identify all upselling opportunities to deliver the perfect guest experience.
- A strong administrator who thrives on delivering the detail and has an organised approach.
- Someone who is passionate about the Hospitality Industry and has a great telephone manner, interpersonal skills and a positive approach to work.
- Previous experience in a similar role, as either an existing Reservations Agent or Receptionist.
