**Head of Franchise**

We’re looking for a Head of Franchise to join us in Manchester to lead and lead the operational side of our franchise business. In this role you’ll work in a hybrid way - splitting your time between home and the office, with Partners and colleagues.

Working closely alongside our Head of Franchise Development and for our Director of Partnership Development, you’ll make sure that our brand and profit-related targets are achieved within our 4-year plan. We’ll look to you to lead and improve the day-to-day operations of our franchise business, focusing on account management, operations, service delivery and pricing and yield management.

**What you’ll do**
- Be responsible for the day-to-day operational leadership of our franchise business
- Be accountable for operational delivery, account management, store launches, franchise training, in-life partner management, legal and profitable pricing, internal SLAs and brand standards auditing
- Build and maintain positive, multi-level relationships with existing and potential Franchise partners
- Lead and motivate the team to jointly deliver the Franchise business plan
- Represent Franchise across the business, taking part in key internal meetings and forums at a senior level, creating a strong network to enable growth and service
- Build and extend our industry profile, amplifying our brand and network
- Provide contingency cover/deputisation support Director as necessary

**This role would suit people who have**
- Experience working in a senior franchise role (e.g. Head of Franchise, Franchise Director, or Franchise Controller)
- An expert-level of commercial awareness and an understanding of food franchise
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret a wide range of data (e.g. sales and store performance and investment returns)
- Excellent relationship-building skills, with the ability to influence and challenge people inclusively to deliver great Co-op standards and Partner satisfaction
- Ability to self-start, problem solve and bring in best practice perspectives and experience
