**Interested?**
The role would be well suited to an individual who can provide expert advice and guidance to client on privacy and data protection matters including Data Protection Act 2018, GDPR, PECR, and CCPA.,standards frameworks, operational models, and an understanding of established good practice in areas such as SaaS, IaaS and information security are all attributes that will be encompassed in the role.

Note: This role can work from our Leicester or Coventry offices on a hybrid basis with a minimum of one day per week spent in the office.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Deliver services from within the Privacy Practice to the client base, this includes risk assessments, best practise guidance, and analysis of gaps that exist in the client’s environment or strategy
- Application of regulation-mandated policies, procedures, and training materials, and promoting a culture of data protection compliance across business functions
- Assessment and auditing of information technology infrastructure, and information security practices
- Analysis, validation and documentation of existing business processes and mapping functional and non-functional requirements
- Performing gap analysis and identifying areas for improvement
- Advising internal / external stakeholders around regulatory questions, risks and issues
- Communicating with stakeholders and managing their expectations, working closely with internal and external parties, both local and remote
- Analysis of business requirements to ensure completeness of information and they are completely clear for the alignment teams.
- Helping maintain and revising policies and procedures for the general operation of an overall Privacy program
- Proactively auditing processes, practices and documents to identify weaknesses
- Evaluating business activities to assess compliance risk
- Provide support to the Senior Privacy Consultants and Director of Privacy Services
- Research and analyse global privacy laws and regulations, including providing insights and recommendations to the Privacy Team and clients. Provide administrative support for client engagements, including scheduling meetings, preparing documentation, and maintaining project files.
- Perform any other duties as required

**Skills, Knowledge and Expertise**:

- Familiarity with industry practices and professional standards in Privacy, Risk and Security compliance
- Experience with data incident response, information security, privacy and compliance
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; experience with cross-cultural communications
- Ability to understand complex business issues and present them in a straightforward way
- 3-5 years of experience desirable
- Agile and flexible, capable of dealing with ambiguity, and confront challenges and opportunities with speed, endurance and decisiveness
- Quick learner, motivated to explore imaginative solutions, draw insights from experiences and seek perspective from others
